Kale Pesto (nut free, dairy free)

A creamy NUT FREE pesto full of vitamin A from the kale. Vitamin A is essential for the reproductive system and healthy skin. Vitamin A helps fight free radicals and regulate the production of pre-clogging sebum. It is also helpful for the growth of new skin cells and strengthening the skin tissue. You can’t really get a pesto healthier than this! 

  • 3 packed cups of curly kale
  • 3 packed cups of basil
  • 1/4 cup (loosely packed) of mint
  • 1/4 cup cooked peas
  • 1/3 avocado
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  1. Combine everything into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy
  2. Serve on top of pasta or zoodles, as a dip or with chicken!
